Description

The REVOX SLG-150HSP3 is a fiber optic illuminator built specifically for pulse control, with three LED channels in one housing. Any three of four colors can be specified - red, green, blue, and white - so one unit can drive three optical setups in sequence and a single camera can capture three imaging conditions at the same station. The minimum pulse width is 3 µs and dimming is 10-bit over a 50-100% range, controlled over Ethernet, with trigger input on a D-sub 9 connector. For applications that need three white channels rather than mixed colors, REVOX supplies the SLG-150HSP2 instead. TeraPower LED is the authorized United States distributor of REVOX, Inc.

Ordering and sourcing information

How this product is configured

The SLG-150HSP3 is supplied as a system rather than a single part number. The three LED colors are fixed when the unit is built and cannot be changed in the field, and each channel normally needs its own light guide and ferrule adaptor, so the illuminator and the light guides are specified together. Note also that the dimming range is 50-100% rather than 0-100%, because this is a pulse-dedicated design. We work through the configuration with you before quoting.

Minimum order quantity

There is no minimum order quantity. A single illuminator with its light guides is handled exactly like a production order, so evaluation units are quoted the same way as line deployments.

Lead time

These illuminators are built to order at the factory, so lead time depends on the color combination, the configuration, and component availability. Orders are shipped either direct from REVOX in Kanagawa, Japan, or through our Torrance, California office. We confirm the shipping route and the lead time with every quote, so the delivery schedule is fixed before you commit to an order.
