Description

The REVOX SLG-150V-X and SLG-165V-X are the high-output versions of the SLG-150V and 165V white fiber optic illuminators, built for inspection stations where the existing LED fiber source simply does not deliver enough light. REVOX publishes an output of twice that of a 250 W metal halide source, which is the comparison that matters when a station is being converted from a discharge lamp. Two white types are standard: CWX for general inspection and DWX with high color rendering for color judgement and for operators working from the image. Light-output feedback is available on the FB models, which holds the set output as the LED ages instead of letting illuminance drift away from the inspection threshold. • Supplied accessories: instruction manual and a 2 m three-pin grounded AC cord; filter retainers and retainer screws are supplied for filter positions that are not populated

Ordering and sourcing information

How this product is configured

The SLG-150V-X is supplied as a system rather than a single part number. The white type and the feedback option are fixed when the unit is built, and the light guide determines the illuminance delivered at the workpiece, so the illuminator, light guide, and ferrule adaptor are specified together. We work through the configuration with you before quoting.

Minimum order quantity

There is no minimum order quantity. A single illuminator with its light guide is handled exactly like a production order, so evaluation units are quoted the same way as line deployments.

Lead time

These illuminators are built to order at the factory, so lead time depends on the configuration and on component availability. Orders are shipped either direct from REVOX in Kanagawa, Japan, or through our Torrance, California office. We confirm the shipping route and the lead time with every quote, so the delivery schedule is fixed before you commit to an order.

U.S. purchasing and technical support

You can buy this illuminator in the United States from TeraPower LED, the authorized United States distributor of REVOX, Inc. You order from and are invoiced by a U.S. company in Torrance, California, and we handle export, import, customs clearance, and delivery to your site - there is no need to order from Japan or import the system yourself. Questions on output comparison with your current lamp, color rendering, light guide selection, and feedback settings are answered in English from the United States, with direct access to the manufacturer's engineering team in Japan whenever a question needs the designer.
