Description

The REVOX SLG-450TSL carries red, green, and blue LEDs in a single fiber optic illuminator and mixes them into one output, which gives a spectrum that can be tuned to the material instead of accepting the fixed spectrum of a white source. REVOX publishes a converted illuminance of more than ten million lux based on its own measurement method, making this the brightest mixed-color source in the SLG series. A color-lock function keeps the mixing ratio fixed while the overall level is dimmed, so the color balance established during setup is not lost when the operator changes brightness. The SLG-450TSL supports steady and pulsed operation with high-speed strobe and high-speed dimming functions, while the SLG-450TSL-ST is the continuous-output version for applications that do not need pulsing. How this product is configured

The SLG-450TSL is supplied as a system rather than a single part number. The pulse capability is fixed by the model you order, because the high-speed strobe and high-speed dimming functions cannot be added to an SLG-450TSL-ST afterwards. The illuminator, the light guide, and the ferrule adaptor are specified together, since the light guide determines the illuminance delivered at the workpiece, so we work through the configuration with you before quoting.

Minimum order quantity

There is no minimum order quantity. A single illuminator with its light guide is handled exactly like a production order, so evaluation units are quoted the same way as line deployments.

Lead time

These illuminators are built to order at the factory, so lead time depends on the configuration and on component availability. Orders are shipped either direct from REVOX in Kanagawa, Japan, or through our Torrance, California office. We confirm the shipping route and the lead time with every quote, so the delivery schedule is fixed before you commit to an order.
